Week 5
In Week 5 we were learning to put all our swimming practice together in the swimming sports. It was really fantastic to see how much improvement the tamariki had made in their strokes, and their confidence in the water.
STEM Challenge # 4 round 2
The learners of Room 4 showed such resilience and a positive attitude to making an improvement on the last STEM challenge we did. Many pairs were able to measure more accurately, produce a larger volume of plastic than the time before, knead to combine and shape their plastic into what ever they could imagine. Tau ke! (Awesome) .
Toi = Art
We have been finishing up our Pepeha toi, to illustrate our Pepeha writing. The tamariki enjoyed choosing their own medium to use, some chose paint, others crayon, colour pencils and felts. Nice to see some original thinking of how to represent the special people and places in their lives.
