Week 8 - People Savers

This week Room 4 were fortunate to learn some valuable life skills about first aide.  The main focus was on learning the sequence DRSABC.

Ask your child to see if they can remember what DRSABC stands for, post their answers in the comments below.  

Hangi - a first time experience for some...

Thank you to all of those people who were able to set up the hangi for our school fundraiser.  Some of our WBS learners have seen the process of the hangi being prepared but for others it was a very curious process of having smoke floating through the school, kai put into the pit/ground and covered up.

What tasty hangi, ka mau te wehi!
